The UC4200 charger focuses on maximum compatibility - we can charge any Ni-MH rechargeable batteries of the following sizes: R6 AA, R03 AAA, R14 C, SC, R20 D and 9V batteries. In addition, the UC4200 also supports 3.6/3.7V Li-ion batteries, their high-voltage alternative - Li-HV, whose nominal voltage is 3.85V, and Li-FePO4 batteries. In the case of lithium-based batteries, the charger will support sizes such as: 10440, 14500, 14650, 17500, 17670, 18350, 18500, 18650, 20700, 21700 - also protected, 22650, 25500, 26500, 262650, 3 33600, 16340 R-CR123e . The maximum range of the sled is up to 76 mm, which will ensure the possibility of charging the increasingly popular 20700 and 21700 batteries in the version with electronic protection.
Li-ion/Li-HV and LiFePO4 batteries are charged very accurately using the CC/CV method with a completion of approx. 100mA. This ensures complete safety and complete charging of every battery, even if it is severely weakened or has a low capacity.
Ni-MH and 9V batteries are charged using the CC (constant current) method with very accurate dV/PVD detection - charging is completed only when the maximum voltage on the battery is reached (the value of this voltage may be different for each battery).
